AutoPost
A single-operator internal tool used by Hughes IT, LLC to schedule video content to its own TikTok accounts and review how that content performs.
AutoPost is a private, internal-use application operated by one person at Hughes IT, LLC. It is not offered to the public, has no consumer signup, and is used only with TikTok accounts that Hughes IT owns.
What AutoPost does
Schedule & publish
Queue finished videos with their captions and publish them to a connected TikTok account via TikTok's Content Posting API.
Review performance
Pull back basic profile details and per-video metrics through TikTok's Display API so results can be compared across posts in one place.
Keep a record
Maintain an internal history of what was posted and when, so the publishing schedule is auditable without checking each account by hand.
Publishing flow
Every direct post passes through a confirmation step. Before anything is sent to TikTok, the operator sees a review screen for that specific post and must explicitly confirm it. Nothing is published without that confirmation.
Shown and confirmed on the review screen
- the video and its caption as they will appear;
- the privacy level for the post, selected from the options the connected account actually allows (as returned by TikTok's creator info endpoint) — no default is applied silently;
- interaction settings — whether comments, Duet, and Stitch are allowed — with any option the account has disabled shown as unavailable rather than silently ignored;
- commercial content disclosure — whether the post promotes the operator's own brand, a third party, or neither, with the corresponding branded-content or paid-partnership declaration passed through to TikTok;
- a reminder that publishing is subject to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation and, where branded content is declared, its Branded Content Policy.
The confirmation is per post. Scheduling only decides when a confirmed post is sent; it never bypasses the review screen.
How TikTok access works
AutoPost connects to TikTok only through TikTok's official APIs, and only after the account holder completes TikTok's own OAuth consent screen and grants the requested scopes. Access can be withdrawn at any time from TikTok's Manage app permissions settings, which immediately ends AutoPost's ability to read from or post to that account.
AutoPost requests only the scopes it needs to publish content and read back the corresponding profile and video metrics. It does not read direct messages, and it does not access accounts belonging to anyone outside Hughes IT, LLC.

| Maximum duration | 300 seconds; longer files are rejected before upload |
| Publish rate | Capped at 6 requests per minute per user access token, matching TikTok's limit |
| Failed uploads | Surfaced with TikTok's error, not silently retried past the rate cap |
